Responsible Sourcing
We source exclusively from suppliers certified under the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC) and the Kimberley Process. Our diamonds are conflict-free, and our gold is traceable to mines that meet rigorous environmental and labour standards. We conduct annual audits of our entire supply chain.
Recycled Precious Metals
Over 80% of the gold used in our collections is recycled, recovered from existing jewellery, electronics, and industrial sources. Recycled gold is chemically identical to newly mined gold — and its production generates up to 99% less carbon emissions. We are committed to reaching 100% by 2027.
Ethical Gemstones
We work with a curated network of gemstone suppliers who share our values. Our coloured stones — sapphires, emeralds, rubies — are sourced from mines with verified fair labour practices. Where possible, we favour suppliers who invest in community development in their regions of operation.
Low-Impact Atelier
Our Madrid atelier runs on 100% renewable electricity. We have eliminated single-use plastics from our packaging, replacing them with FSC-certified paper, recycled ribbon, and reusable jewellery boxes crafted from sustainably harvested wood. Our shipping materials are fully recyclable.
Longevity by Design
The most sustainable piece of jewellery is one that lasts a lifetime. Every Maison Granada creation is designed for permanence — made to be repaired, resized, and passed down. We offer a lifetime repair service and encourage our clients to return pieces for professional care rather than replacement.
Community & Craft
We partner with artisan communities in Andalusia, supporting traditional goldsmithing techniques that might otherwise be lost. A portion of every sale is directed to the Granada Craft Foundation, which funds apprenticeships for young jewellers from underrepresented backgrounds.
"We believe that a piece of jewellery should carry no hidden cost — not to the land, not to the people who made it, not to the world our children will inherit."
— Isabel Herrera, Founder
